How to configure Grande Communications for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to setup Grande Communications:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Configuration

1. Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both protocols! Please refer to the information below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP will keep the e-mails on the server and it will show a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the email account and click Next.
3. Refer to the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Setup Required for Receiving Mail with POP

1. After you type in the settings, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please use the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
