Configuring Hawaiiantel.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this post we will explain configuring Hawaiiantel.net using IMAP and SMTP for your Android Tablet in a simple way.

Setting up Hawaiiantel.net:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Setup Required for Receiving Email
- Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both options! You may want to see the information below for the correct protocols.
- IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server but it will show a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
- POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type the password for the email address and click Next.
- Please see the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Settings Required for Sending E-mail (using SMTP)
- Once the parameters are entered, tap Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
