How to set up Hughes.net

Mail can find your parameters automatically, and configure your account. Apply these steps first to find out if that is possible:

1. Open Settings, then Mail then click Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account > Other then tap Add Mail Account
3. Type in your name, your email address, your password then a description for account
4. Tap Next. Mail should try and find the mail configuration and finish your account setup. If the Mail app finds your email settings, tap Done to complete your account setup.

If the Mail app can't automatically set up your account, then you will have to enter them yourself. I think you will need the information below:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose IMAP or POP for your new account If you aren't sure which one to choose, contact Hughes.net
2. Type in the required information (You may refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
3. If your email setup is correct, tap Save to complete . If your mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit them.
4. In case you still can't configure the account or save the settings, contact the provider.
