Configuring Indy.rr.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this post I will try to summarize setting up Indy.rr.com with IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way!

What is Indy.rr.com:
Spectrum (RoadRunner) is a trade name of Charter Communications, used to market consumer and commercial cable television, internet, telephone, and wireless services provided by the company. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectrum_(TV_service)
Setting up Indy.rr.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Configuration Required for Receiving Email
- Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services provide both protocols. Refer to the table below for possible protocols.
- IMAP stores the mails on the server and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Type in the passphrase for your email address and tap Next.
- Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Server Settings
- Once the settings are typed in, you can click Next.
- Check Require sign-in
- Refer to the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
