Configuring Insect.com for an Android Device

Configuring Insect.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Setup

1. Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols! Please check out the information below for available parameters.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the passphrase for the e-mail address and click Next.
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

1. After you enter the parameters, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
