
Configuring Insect.com for an Android Device
With this article I will teach you setting up Insect.com using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple language.

Configuring Insect.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Email Setup
- Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols! Please check out the information below for available parameters.
- IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
- POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
- Type in the passphrase for the e-mail address and click Next.
- Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

SSL/TLS | Yes |
Settings Required for Sending Email
- After you enter the parameters, click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
