How to set up internetemails.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. How to set up internetemails.net:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Configuration

  1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both protocols. Refer to the table below for possible protocols.
    • IMAP will keep the emails on the server and it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Type the password for your mail address and click Next.
  3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Configuration Required for Sending Mail (via SMTP)

  1. After you type the parameters, you can tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Please see the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
