Setting up Ipass.net for your iPhone
In this post we will try to demonstrate setting up Ipass.net with POP and SMTP in a simple fashion!

How to set up Ipass.net:
It is possible that Mail will find the email configuration itself and configure your account. Apply the following steps in order to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail, then tap Accounts.
- Click Add Account, click Other then click Add Mail Account
- Type your name (can be any name), email address, your password then a description for account
- Tap Next. Mail should try and find the mail configuration and set up your account. If Mail finds the email configuration, click Done to finish your setup.
If Mail can't find your email settings, it means that you need to enter them manually. You may need the information below:
Configuration Needed for Receiving E-mail via POP
Server Hostname | mail.ipass.net |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Outgoing Mail Server Configuration (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | mail.ipass.net |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to select, contact Ipass.net
- Type in the information (You might want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If your e-mail configuration is correct, tap Save to finish . If your e-mail settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to modify the configuration.
- If you still are not able to setup your email account or store the email settings, contact your email provider.
