Configuring Tpg.com.au for your iOS Device

With this post we will simply teach you how to set up Tpg.com.au with POP and SMTP in a straightforward fashion.

Setting up Tpg.com.au:

It is possible that the Mail app will find your e-mail settings itself, and complete setting up your account. Follow the following steps first in order to try:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, and click Accounts
  2. Tap Add Account > Other, then click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type your name (can be any name), your email address, password with a description for your account.
  4. Click Next. Mail will now try to find the mail configuration and complete setting your account. If Mail finds the e-mail configuration, tap Done to finish your setup.

In case Mail didn't find your mail configuration, then you have to enter them manually. We think you will need the information below:

Settings Needed for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Select either IMAP or POP If you are not sure which one to select, contact Tpg.com.au.
  2. Type in the details (You might want to have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
  3. If the e-mail configuration is correct, tap Save to finish the setup. If the mail setup is incorrect, you will be asked to edit the configuration
  4. If you still are not able to setup your email account or save your e-mail settings, contact Tpg.com.au.
