How to set up Live.nl for an Android Device

How to setup Live.nl

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving E-mail

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both options. You may want to see the table below for available parameters.
   • IMAP protocol stores the mails on the server and it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type in the password for the email account and tap Next.
3. Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Configuration

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration

1. Once the parameters are filled in, click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
