How to configure mail.ru

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Setup

1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both. You may want to check out the information below for available parameters.
   • IMAP will keep the mails on the server but it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the password for your mail account and tap Next.
3. Please see the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing E-mail Configuration

1. Once the parameters are filled in, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
