Configuring mailcan.com

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Settings

1. Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both. You may want to see the table below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server, but it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Enter the passphrase for the mail account and click Next.
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing E-mail Setup

1. After you enter the configuration, tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
