Configuring mailmight.com for your Android Phone

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. Setting up mailmight.com:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

  1. Choose the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both. Refer to the table below for the correct parameters.
    • IMAP protocol stores the mails on the server, and it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
  2. Type in the passphrase for your email address and click Next.
  3. Refer to the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Server Setup

  1. After you enter the parameters, tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Use the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
