Configuring mailnew.com for your iPad/iPhone

In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. Setting up mailnew.com:

Mail app may find your email settings itself, and configure your account. Follow the following steps first to see if that will be possible:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, and click Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account, click Other, then tap Add Mail Account
3. Enter your name, your email address, password and a description for your account
4. Click Next. Mail should try and find the email parameters and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the email configuration, tap Done to complete your account setup.

In case Mail couldn't find your e-mail parameters, it means that you will have to enter them yourself. You will find the following table useful:

Outgoing E-mail Configuration (using SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select either IMAP or POP If you don't know which one to select, contact mailnew.com.
2. Type in the required information (You will have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If the email configuration is correct, tap Save to complete . If your email settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to edit those settings.
4. If you still are not able to set up the e-mail account, or store your email settings, contact the e-mail provider.
