Setting up Mailsnare.net for an Android Tablet

Configuring Mailsnare.net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both! Please refer to the table below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will keep the emails on the server, but it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the passphrase for your mail account and click Next.
3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

1. After you type in the configuration, tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
