Configuring mailup.net for an iPhone
With this blog we will explain setting up mailup.net with IMAP and SMTP in a straightforward way!
First, a few words about mailup.net
Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. How to configure mailup.net
It is possible that Mail will find your email configuration itself then configure your account. Apply the following steps first to see if that will be possible:
- Go to Settings > Mail then click Accounts.
- Click Add Account, then Other and click Add Mail Account
- Type in your name, your email address, password with a description for your account.
- Click Next. The Mail app should try to find the mail settings and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds your e-mail configuration, click Done to finish your setup.
In case the Mail app can't automatically set up your account, then you need to enter them yourself. You may need the information below:
