Configuring mailup.net for an iPhone

First, a few words about mailup.net

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. How to configure mailup.net

It is possible that Mail will find your email configuration itself then configure your account. Apply the following steps first to see if that will be possible:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail then click Accounts.
  2. Click Add Account, then Other and click Add Mail Account
  3. Type in your name, your email address, password with a description for your account.
  4. Click Next. The Mail app should try to find the mail settings and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds your e-mail configuration, click Done to finish your setup.

In case the Mail app can't automatically set up your account, then you need to enter them yourself. You may need the information below:

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Settings

UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)

Outgoing Mail Configuration (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account If you aren't certain which one to opt for, contact mailup.net
  2. Enter the information (You may take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to complete . If your mail settings are incorrect, Mail will ask you to edit those settings.
  4. If you still can't setup your account or store your e-mail settings, contact mailup.net.
