How to set up MobileMe for an Android Tablet
In this article I will simply teach you how to configure MobileMe using IMAP and SMTP for your Android Phone in a simple way!

Configuring MobileMe:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Settings Required for Receiving Mail
- Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both! You may want to refer to the table below for available settings.
- IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server but it will show a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
- POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
- Type the password for your e-mail account and tap Next.
- Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Configuration Required for Sending Email
- Once the settings are filled in, click Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Refer to the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
