Setting up Yahoo.com.my

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Settings

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both! Refer to the information below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP will keep the mails on the server, but it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the passphrase for the e-mail account and tap Next.
3. Refer to the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail via IMAP

Configuration Required for Sending E-mail (using SMTP)

1. Once the settings are entered, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Use the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
