Setting up Midsouth.rr.com:

Mail app may find your e-mail parameters itself, then set up your account. Follow these steps first in order to see if it will:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, then click Accounts
  2. Click Add Account, then Other, and tap Add Mail Account.
  3. Enter your name (can be any name), your email address, your password and a description for your account.
  4. Tap Next. The Mail app will try to find the email parameters and finish setting your account. If Mail finds the e-mail parameter, tap Done to complete your setup.

In case Mail can't find your mail configuration, it means that you will need to enter them manually. I think you will need the following information:

Incoming Mail (POP) Settings

Server Hostnamepop-server.midsouth.rr.com
Server Port110
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSNo

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (via SMTP)

Server Hostnamesmtp-server.midsouth.rr.com
Server Port25
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationNONE
SSL/TLSNo

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account If you are not certain which one to opt for, contact Midsouth.rr.com.
  2. Type the required details (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If the e-mail setup is correct, tap Save to complete the setup. If your mail settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to modify them
  4. If you still are not able to configure your e-mail account, or save your settings, contact your provider.
