Setting up Earthlink for your Android Device
In this article we will teach you how to setup Earthlink with POP and SMTP and IMAP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple fashion.

Setting up Earthlink:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming E-mail Settings
- Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both protocols! You may want to check out the information below for possible parameters.
- IMAP protocol will keep the emails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type the password for the e-mail account and tap Next.
- Please use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Setup (via SMTP)
- After you type the parameters, tap Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
