Setting up Earthlink for your iPad/iPhone

Setting up Earthlink:

Mail may find your configuration itself, and complete setting up your account. Apply these steps first in order to see if it can:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, then click Accounts
2. Click Add Account > Other, and click Add Mail Account.
3. Enter your name (can be any name), your email address, your password with a description for your account.
4. Tap Next. The Mail app should try to find the e-mail settings and complete your account setup. If Mail finds the email settings, tap Done to finish your setup.

If Mail can't automatically set up your account, it means that you need to enter them manually. I think you may need the information below:

Incoming Mail (POP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Setup (via SMTP)

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Setup

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to choose, contact Earthlink.
2. Type the required details (You may refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If the mail setup is correct, click Save to finish the setup. If the mail setup is incorrect, Mail will ask you to modify those settings
4. In case you still aren't able to set up your account or store your e-mail settings, contact Earthlink.
