How to configure Mysoul.com.au for an Android Device

With this post I will teach you how to setup Mysoul.com.au with POP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward way.

Setting up Mysoul.com.au

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving Email

  1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both protocols! Refer to the information below for available settings.
    • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server, and it will display a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Type in the passphrase for the email account and click Next.
  3. Use the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Settings Needed for Sending E-mail

  1. After you enter the settings, tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
