Configuring Netscape.net for an iPhone

Setting up Netscape.net:

It is possible that Mail will find your configuration automatically, then complete setting up your account. Apply the following steps first in order to see if that will be possible:

1. Go to Settings > Mail then click Accounts
2. Tap Add Account > Other, and click Add Mail Account
3. Type in your name, your email address, your password then a description for your account
4. Click Next. The Mail app should now try and find the email configuration and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the e-mail configuration, click Done to finish your setup.

In case the Mail app can't automatically set up your account, it means that you will have to enter them yourself. We think you may need the information below:

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account If you are not sure which one to opt for, contact Netscape.net.
2. Type the information (You may have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
3. If the email configuration is correct, click Save to complete the setup. If your email settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit those settings
4. If you still aren't able to set up your email account or store the email settings, contact your email provider.
