How to configure Netvigator.com for your Android Tablet
With this post I will demonstrate setting up Netvigator.com with for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way!
What is Netvigator.com:
Netvigator is a residential Internet service provider in Hong Kong, operated as a brand of Hong Kong Telecom, a subsidiary of PCCW. The company did offer iTV, an interactive movie television network that allowed users to watch movies on their TV screen by demand. The service ended in 2002 (PCCW later re-entered multichannel television market with IPTV service Now TV in 2003). Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netvigator
Setting up Netvigator.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Server Configuration
- Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both protocols. Please refer to the information below for possible protocols.
- IMAP keeps the e-mails on the server and it will show a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Enter the passphrase for the mail account and click Next.
- Refer to the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
Outgoing Mail Settings (via SMTP)
- Once the settings are entered, you can tap Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please see the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
