Configuring Orangemail.co.bw:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Required for Receiving Mail

  1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services provide both. Please refer to the table below for the correct parameters.
    • IMAP will keep the mails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in almost all cases.
    • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Type in the password for the mail address and click Next.
  3. Please see the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (using SMTP)

  1. Once the settings are typed in, you can click Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
