Configuring Pacbell.net for your Android Device

How to setup Pacbell.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Settings

1. Choose the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both protocols! You may want to see the information below for available parameters.
   • IMAP will keep the mails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Enter the password for the mail address and tap Next.
3. Use the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Settings

Settings Required for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are entered, you can tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please see the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
