Setting up Palouse.com

Mail may find the e-mail configuration itself, and set up your account. Follow the following steps first in order to find out if it will:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts
  2. Click Add Account > Other, then tap Add Mail Account.
  3. Type in your name, your email address, your password and a description for account
  4. Tap Next. Mail should now try to find the email settings and finish setting your account. If the Mail app finds your e-mail configuration, tap Done to complete your account setup.

If Mail couldn't find your email configuration, it means that you have to enter them manually. I think you will find the information below useful:

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Configuration

Server Hostnamesecure.fsr.com
Server Port993
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSYes

Outgoing Mail Configuration (via SMTP)

Server Hostnamesecure.fsr.com
Server Port587
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSYes

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you are not certain which one to select, contact Palouse.com.
  2. Type in the required details (You may have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If your email setup is correct, tap Save to complete the setup. If the email settings are incorrect, the app will ask you to modify those settings.
  4. If you still can't configure the e-mail account or save the email settings, contact the e-mail provider.
