How to configure PEPB Online
Mail app can find the e-mail settings itself then set up your account. Apply the following steps to try:
- Go to Settings > Mail then tap Accounts
- Tap Add Account > Other and tap Add Mail Account
- Type in your name, email address, password with a description for account
- Tap Next. Mail will now try and find the mail parameters and finish setting your account. If the Mail app finds the e-mail configuration, click Done to complete your account setup.
In case the Mail app can't find your email configuration, then you need to enter them yourself. I think you may find the info below useful:
Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail using POP
Server Hostname | mail.pepb.net |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Outgoing Mail Server Settings (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | mail.pepb.net |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If you are not sure which one to select, contact PEPB Online
- Type the required information (You may refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
- If your e-mail settings are correct, tap Save to finish the setup. If your mail configuration is incorrect, Mail will ask you to edit those settings
- If you still can't configure the email account, or store the email settings, contact PEPB Online.
