Setting up Screaming.net for an Android Device

How to setup Screaming.net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Setup

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Please check out the table below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server, but it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type in the password for your e-mail address and tap Next.
3. Please use the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings

1. After you type in the configuration, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Refer to the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
