How to set up Netzero.net for your Android Phone

Setting up Netzero.net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Setup

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both protocols. You may want to check out the table below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP stores the mails on the server, and it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the passphrase for the e-mail address and click Next.
3. Please refer to the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Settings

1. Once the parameters are typed in, you can tap Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please see the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
