
Setting up Skynet.be for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
In this blog we will simply summarize configuring Skynet.be with SMTP and IMAP for your Android Tablet in a simple way!

Setting up Skynet.be
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming E-mail Setup
- Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both! Refer to the table below for possible protocols.
- IMAP stores the mails on the server but it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
- POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
- Enter the passphrase for the email address and tap Next.
- Please see the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Configuration Needed for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are filled in, you can tap Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please see the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
