How to configure Secureserver.net for an Android Phone

Configuring Secureserver.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Settings

1. Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both protocols! You may want to see the information below for the correct parameters.
   • IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the passphrase for the mail address and click Next.
3. Please use the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Configuration

Settings Needed for Sending Email (via SMTP)

1. After you type in the settings, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
