Configuring Sonic.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this article I will simply demonstrate how to configure Sonic.net using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward way!

How to setup Sonic.net:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Configuration Required for Receiving E-mail
- Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both. Refer to the information below for possible settings.
- IMAP keeps the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
- Type the password for the e-mail account and tap Next.
- Please use the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration
- After you type in the parameters, click Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
