Setting up Surewest.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to set up Surewest.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Configuration

1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both. You may want to refer to the information below for available settings.
   • IMAP protocol will store the emails on the server but it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the password for your mail address and tap Next.
3. Please use the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings

1. After you type the parameters, you can tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
