The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. How to setup fmgirl.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving E-mail

  1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both! Please check out the information below for possible parameters.
    • IMAP protocol will keep the emails on the server, but it will show a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
  2. Enter the password for your mail account and click Next.
  3. Refer to the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (using SMTP)

  1. After you type in the settings, click Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
