How to configure Sympatico

It is possible that Mail will find the e-mail configuration automatically, and set up your account. Apply the following steps first to find out if that is possible:

1. Go to Settings > Mail then tap Accounts
2. Click Add Account > Other, then tap Add Mail Account
3. Type your name (can be any name), email address, password and a description for your account
4. Click Next. The Mail app will try and find the email configuration and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds the e-mail configuration, click Done to complete your setup.

In case the Mail app can't find your e-mail settings, it means that you have to enter them manually. I think you will find the information below useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If you are not certain which one to choose, contact Sympatico.
2. Type in the required information (You might want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If the email settings are correct, click Save to finish . If your email settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit the configuration
4. If you still can't set up your e-mail account or save your e-mail settings, contact the e-mail provider.
