Setting up T-com.pu for your iPad/iPhone

In this post we will demonstrate how to set up T-com.pu with POP and SMTP in a straightforward way.

Setting up T-com.pu:

Mail may find your email configuration itself, then configure your account. Follow the following steps first to try:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail, then click Accounts.
  2. Click Add Account, then Other then click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type in your name, your email address, password then a description for account.
  4. Tap Next. Mail will try and find the mail configuration and finish setting your account. If the Mail app finds the e-mail settings, tap Done to complete your setup.

If Mail can't find your mail settings, it means that you have to enter them yourself. You will find the following table useful:

Configuration Needed for Receiving E-mail via POP

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (using SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to opt for, contact T-com.pu
  2. Type in the details (You may refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
  3. If your mail setup is correct, tap Save to finish . If your mail setup is incorrect, you'll be asked to edit the configuration
  4. In case you still are not able to set up the account or store the e-mail settings, contact the provider.
