
How to configure T-com.zd for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this blog I will try to summarize how to set up T-com.zd with POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward fashion.

Configuring T-com.zd:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
 - In the top right, tap your profile picture.
 - Tap Add another account.
 - Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
 - If you don't see your email service, select Other.
 
 - Enter your email address and tap Next.
 
Incoming Mail Server Setup
- Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both options. Please check out the information below for available parameters.
- IMAP protocol will keep the emails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
 - POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
 
 - Enter the passphrase for your mail account and tap Next.
 - Please see the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
 - Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
 
Setup Required for Receiving Email with POP

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (using SMTP)
- After you type in the parameters, you can click Next.
 - Check Require sign-in
 - Use the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
 - Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
