Configuring Telstra.com for your Android Device

Setting up Telstra.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Settings

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both. Refer to the information below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol stores the e-mails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the e-mail account and click Next.
3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing E-mail Setup

1. Once the settings are typed in, tap Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
