Setting up Three.com.au
It is possible that the Mail app will find the settings itself, and configure your account. Follow these steps in order to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
- Click Add Account > Other, then tap Add Mail Account
- Type in your name (can be any name), email address, password and a description for account
- Tap Next. Mail will now try and find the email parameters and finish setting your account. If the Mail app finds the e-mail settings, tap Done to finish your account setup.
If Mail couldn't find your email parameters, then you have to enter them manually. You will find the following table useful:
Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail via POP
Server Hostname | mail.three.net.au |
Server Port | 143 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Configuration Needed for Sending E-mail
Server Hostname | smtp.three.com.au |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose either IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to choose, contact Three.com.au.
- Enter the required details (You may refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
- If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish the setup. If the email settings are incorrect, you will be asked to modify the configuration
- If you still aren't able to configure the email account, or save your email settings, contact your email provider.
