Setting up Topaz.plala.or.jp for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Topaz.plala.or.jp

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Needed for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both options! Please refer to the table below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server but it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Enter the password for the email account and click Next.
3. Please see the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

1. Once the settings are filled in, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
