Setting up Unity-mail.de for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
In this blog we will simply demonstrate setting up Unity-mail.de using IMAP and SMTP for an Android Device in an easy to follow fashion.

How to set up Unity-mail.de
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Server Setup
- Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both protocols! Refer to the table below for possible parameters.
- IMAP stores the emails on the server but it will show a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting in almost all cases.
- POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
- Type in the passphrase for the mail address and click Next.
- Refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Needed for Sending Mail (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are filled in, you can click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
