How to set up Upcnet.ro for an Android Phone

How to setup Upcnet.ro

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving E-mail

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both protocols! Refer to the table below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Type the passphrase for your mail account and click Next.
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Configuration

Configuration Required for Sending Email (via SMTP)

1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Use the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
