How to configure Videotron.net for an Android Phone

Configuring Videotron.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Settings

1. Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both. Refer to the information below for available protocols.
   • IMAP keeps the mails on the server, and it will show a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the password for the mail address and click Next.
3. Please see the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail (POP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Setup (via SMTP)

1. After you enter the parameters, tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
