Configuring warpmail.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

First, a few words about warpmail.net:

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. How to configure warpmail.net:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Configuration

  1. Choose the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both. Refer to the table below for available parameters.
    • IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server but it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Type in the passphrase for your e-mail address and click Next.
  3. Please refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Settings Required for Sending Mail (via SMTP)

  1. Once the parameters are entered, you can tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
