Setting up Wp.pl for an Android Device

In this post we will teach you how to setup Wp.pl using SMTP and IMAP for your Android Phone in a straightforward way!

Setting up Wp.pl:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Email

  1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both! Refer to the table below for possible settings.
    • IMAP stores the emails on the server, and it will display a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
    • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Enter the passphrase for the email account and click Next.
  3. Please see the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Setup (using SMTP)

  1. Once the parameters are entered, tap Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Please use the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
