How to configure Yahoo.co.uk for an iPhone

First, a few words about Yahoo.co.uk

Yahoo! Mail is an email service launched on October 8, 1997, by the American company Yahoo, Inc. It offers four different email plans: three for personal use (Basic, Plus, and Ad Free) and another for businesses. As of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users. Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). How to configure Yahoo.co.uk

It is possible that Mail will find your e-mail configuration itself then configure your account. Apply these steps first in order to find out if it will:

1. Go to Settings > Mail then click Accounts
2. Click Add Account > Other and click Add Mail Account
3. Enter your name (can be any name), your email address, password and a description for your account
4. Tap Next. The Mail app should try and find the e-mail parameters and finish setting your account. If the Mail app finds the email parameter, tap Done to complete your account setup.

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Yahoo.co.uk
2. Enter the information (You may have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
3. If your email setup is correct, click Save to finish . If your email settings are incorrect, the app will ask you to modify them
4. If you still are not able to set up the e-mail account, or save the settings, contact your email provider.
