Setting up Yahoo.com.ng for your iOS Device
In this article I will try to teach you how to set up Yahoo.com.ng with IMAP and SMTP in an easy to follow way...
History of Yahoo.com.ng:
Yahoo! Mail is an email service launched on October 8, 1997, by the American company Yahoo, Inc. It offers four different email plans: three for personal use (Basic, Plus, and Ad Free) and another for businesses. As of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users. Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). Since 2015, users can also connect non-Yahoo e-mail accounts to the webmail client. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo!_Mail
Configuring Yahoo.com.ng:
Mail may find the e-mail configuration itself and complete setting up your account. Apply the following steps first to find out if it will:
- Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts
- Click Add Account, click Other then click Add Mail Account
- Type your name (can be any name), email address, password with a description for account
- Tap Next. Mail should try and find the mail settings and complete setting your account. If the Mail app finds the email settings, tap Done to complete your setup.
If Mail couldn't find your email configuration, it means that you need to enter them manually. We think you may find the info below useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

- Type in the information (You might want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
