How to configure 21cn.com for an Android Phone

Configuring 21cn.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Settings

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both. Please refer to the table below for the correct parameters.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the e-mails on the server, but it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type in the passphrase for the email account and click Next.
3. Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Setup (via SMTP)

1. After you enter the settings, you can tap Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
