Setting up Arcor.de for your iOS Device

Configuring Arcor.de:

It is possible that the Mail app will find the e-mail configuration itself, then configure your account. Follow these steps first in order to find out if that is possible:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts
2. Click Add Account, click Other, and tap Add Mail Account.
3. Type in your name (can be any name), your email address, password and a description for your account
4. Click Next. The Mail app will try to find the e-mail configuration and finish your account setup. If Mail finds your email configuration, tap Done to finish your account setup.

If Mail couldn't automatically set up your account, it means that you have to enter them yourself. You will find the information below useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to select, contact Arcor.de.
2. Type the required details (You may want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If the email configuration is correct, click Save to finish . If the e-mail setup is incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to modify them
4. In case you still can't configure the email account, or store the settings, contact the provider.
