How to set up Barak for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Barak

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

1. Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both options. Please see the table below for available settings.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server, and it will display a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the passphrase for the e-mail address and tap Next.
3. Please use the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (POP) Configuration

Outgoing Mail Configuration (via SMTP)

1. After you type in the configuration, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
